SAH Annual Conference Fellowship

Are you interested in attending the Society of Architectural Historians conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico? Does your writing focus on architecture and politics?  

The Latrobe Chapter of SAH, located in metropolitan Washington, DC, offers a $1,000 conference travel grant to graduate students (MA and PhD) and emerging professionals/recent graduates whose research centers broadly on the topic of architecture and politics, including but not limited to issues of practice, education, representation, and power dynamics. Applicants do not necessarily need to present a paper at the conference nor pursue research related to Washington, DC or American national politics more broadly.  

 The 2024 annual meeting will take place on April 17-21 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and will feature paper sessions, roundtables and workshops, architecture and landscape tours, networking receptions, and more. For more information, visit https://www.sah.org/2024.  

To apply for the 2024 SAH Latrobe Chapter fellowship, please submit the following materials:
 

  1. A statement of interest, not to exceed two double-spaced pages, explaining how your studies or professional work will be enhanced by attendance at the conference;
 

  2. A brief 2-page CV;
and

  3. The name, e-mail, and telephone number for a professional reference.
